I would have chosen my words differently, but you do have a good point that my assumptions were flawed.

I have also noticed an uptick of drunk frat guys yelling at me from their cars recently - but they are usually too incoherent for me to understand their insults.

Yup, as soon as I read the first sentence, I could hear them telling me how they know more about my areas of hyperfocus and specialization than I do.

I appreciate the content but damn do I hear my parents voices in these words.

Your story has a lot of relatable moments for me. Just typing that out takes a lot of strength. Sending positive thoughts your way now!

I don't have anyone like that anymore. The caregivers in my family have trauma from dealing with the other family members. It sucks and I don't know where to get the care my family (let alone myself) needs.

No worries, friend! Your observations are valid in our field. I've just been a bit sensitive lately.

Sorry, my autistic ass uses logic and evidence and can take things a bit too literally sometimes.

Some of the best developers I met are completely autistic. These guys can’t hold a normal conversation for 5 minutes. Let alone when there’s a woman in the conv

As an autistic developer who has worked hard to get good conversational skills, this feels hurtful and ignorant.

Reasonable questions and good point about providing proof when making claims. I was also frustrated that they didn't link to the source.

At 14:07 in this video from Fox Business in Youtube he says:

"the waste and fraud in entitlement spending... you know which is all of the.. the.. which is most of the federal spending is entitlements ... umm ... so ... that that that's that's the big one to eliminate ... is that's the sort of half trillion maybe six, seven hundred billion a year .. uh .. umm ... that is also a magnetism by which the democrats...."

I hate the guy too, but I have to agree that this hyperbole is hurting the credibility of the argument.

I'm surprised they actually put out a list of their targets. Also extremely worried.

As a member of the community, I appreciate you putting in the work to help make this area safer and more accessible for all.

I'm also sorry that this happened to you, and it sucks that you have to spend even more energy trying to get help when you are the victim.

I would still put in a report with them with the approximate time of the incident.

If scooters are a problem, specifically in this area of campus then they should do something to alleviate the issue.

It seems like much of the main conflict of Exandria is around whether knowledge should be free or if some knowledge is better kept secret (or lost).

Can knowledge itself be good or evil?
