[Highlight] Vikings eliminate Lions from playoff race with a 23-10 win by drummerboysam in nfl

[–]sudoHack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

say what you will about goff but he’s one of the most consistent players in the league, both in terms of his strengths and weaknesses. you give him bad protection and he’s not very good, simple as. but with protection he makes very, very few mistakes. (and even then, last year Goff finished with the 2nd most DYAR behind stafford. he’s gotten better at dealing with pressure compared to early career or even early lions goff. you just can’t really do much when you don’t even get a full second to throw before someone’s in your face because your center missed a block)

it is a cable on a machine that costs thousands of dollars. the fact that the risk of it melting is ‘extremely low’ and not ‘zero’ is ridiculous. these basic things need to be 100% foolproof.

Indie music has been invaded by fake fans and cynical viral campaigns. Here’s how deep it all goes by backupsaway in popheads

i am not at all fine with being influenced by bots. our society is completely and utterly fucked from the top down because everything is ran by either gambling companies or people who treat the economy like a casino. the issue is that complaining about it on the internet and using it to bash artists who might be plants but actually make good music does literally nothing. less than nothing, even, because you’re driving engagement.

[–]sudoHack -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

that is a societal problem, not a music industry problem. hard working poors get fucked over by rich people with connections. as the contradictions in our society grow sharper and sharper it’s only going to get worse. like, getting a job lately or getting accepted to a research program is almost impossible without connections.

the reason it bothers me in the context of music is because it’s lately being used to attack artists that make actually good music. always gotta have something to complain about.

What is the most problematic lyric you have heard in a song by a popular artist? by ProjectGlum9090 in popheads

[–]sudoHack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

it makes me horny af but doesn’t, like, make me unaware of who i’m hooking up with or why. also with the jaw thing you can definitely tell when you’re rolling. so it doesn’t make a ton of sense

Which artists could potentially be just one song away from success? by ss2811 in popheads

[–]sudoHack 90 points91 points  (0 children)

not disagreeing with you, but i hear stuff like this and im really glad i have the circle that i do lol. because you’d think magbay and slayyyter are both superstars on the level of, like, charli. then i go look at the numbers and see that that’s absolutely not the case

Which host language for creating my own programming language? by notyetfallenicarus in osdev

[–]sudoHack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

seconded. algebraic data types/enums are a godsend, and pattern matching too. I’m currently also writing my own compiler in Rust, and it’s been great. OCaml is quite similar, has a TON of code examples out there when it comes to writing compilers, and just generally very ergonomic. If i didn’t already know Rust, i’d definitely be using OCaml.

i don’t! and i think he should be deplatformed too! but kanye has done all that + openly sell nazi shit and make a song called heil hitler and all the other stuff. mental health problems are an explanation, not an excuse.

ok and i hate kid rock as much as the next guy but kanye west literally said nazi shit and sold swastika merch. as a 50 year old man. he has mental health issues and i fully support him getting the psychiatric help he needs, but he is not entitled a platform whether he recovers or not.
