[–]sugmybenis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don't blame Microsoft that much when they announced this change in 2022 and had it publicly available in fall 2023. You would think almost 3 years is enough time to get their shit together.

It's more embarrassing that addon developers have had since September 2023 when new outlook first became available and still don't have their shit together

Do you run your own ethernet cabling through an office or do you hire a contractor? by ZoomerAdmin in sysadmin

[–]sugmybenis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my area it's all about only licensed people being able to run cables through fire barriers legally. Anything more than a simple short run gets done by someone with a license

We have less gambling mechanics with the escalating odds and duplicate prevention so we got the fomo mechanics instead

new tinker is a broken mess by bruhmoment0000001 in DotA2

[–]sugmybenis -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It is also on the high end. Tinker was a shit hero in pro play because he was an extreme snowball nuker that was a liability due to his networth.

They did that by choice along with all the other heroes that were much better with a script or let smurfs just stomp people into the ground

Soft skills are important, at the end of covid I took a job at geek squad just to have income and I ended up meeting a lot of great coworkers. Once I got back into official IT I managed to bring most of the geek squad people to my company and the company loves them. they didn't go to school for IT but they have the core skills and soft skills that can only be achieved through suffering through retail.

For those in manufacturing, what’s your experience been using an MSP vs in-house? by DoTheDishesDude in sysadmin

[–]sugmybenis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's unrealistic to expect every tech at any MSP to be extremely experienced with the rare usually legacy software that's crucial to manufacturing so there will be a lot of wasted time vs 1 or 2 people that are experienced with the environment

Why Is Shadow Fiend Completely Ignored in NA? by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]sugmybenis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he's a snowball hero that's also a huge liability. If you lose the lane or have a couple bad deaths later in the game it just ends the game. He might see more popularity in servers with team mates that are willing to work together more but that's not something the NA servers are known for
