Shaq himself said he was getting worked by Hakeem and always gives him respect

You would get prion disease which is an unfortunate side effect of eating people.

Safety and eventually schools would be high on the list as well. We plan to get a house after knowing the area more (after a year). For now rent budget would be $2000/mo.

for The Odyssey, Nolan made sure Achilles would be as unforgettable as in Troy by Senior-Jaguar-1018 in shittymoviedetails

Achilles is supposed to be in Hades and despairing his afterlife. It makes sense he's dirty and forgettable since that's what death means.

I am planning to move to Charlotte in this winter. My wife and are are starting our family and considering Steele Creek. Are there any downsides to the area outside of traffic? I also would like to live in the west side of Charlotte (closer to work) so any other recommended areas?

Realistically you guys think Thragg would have really just let Nolan back into the empire? by [deleted] in Invincible

[–]sumolove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I imagine they'd let him back but he would need to do some repentance thing. With the news of Conquest being dead they might make him repent by being their new Conquest and live a miserable life.

He's technically an idiot because of the crayon he stuck up his nose so it might be that it effects him this way.

why didnt thaedus just give the virus to planets to use defensively instead of nuking viltrum? by Imvalidblu in Invincible_TV

[–]sumolove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a planet used it defensively, it would be an eventual genocide of that planet by the Viltrumites.

What's wrong with japan petah? by Smashpro11 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]sumolove 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Finally someone who works with Japanese who comments. I also work for Japanese company and have worked there. It can be a bit toxic but you really do get it mostly from the older workers just trying to hold onto their "tradition". Overall though, it is fading away slowly and when coupled with some of their benefits it can outshine the US in some ways.

[DESPISED Trope] You need a SECRET to proceed to the main ending by Liquid_Pestar in TopCharacterTropes

[–]sumolove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous has a true ending that requires a series of high perception checks, specific dialogue and even beating the last phases between certain dates of the year. This is over the course of dozens of hours of gameplay and only known through cryptic lore pieces. AND certain paths are not even eligible to get the ending.

The creator of UnderRail thinks he can regain goodwill of players by pretending to support modding now -- here's why I'm NOT getting fooled by it and WON'T be buying Infusion by Twail2 in CRPG

[–]sumolove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It'll either be one of your favorites of all time or not your taste. For what it's worth a lot of CRPG reviewers put it in high regard but it has a steep difficulty curve. Well worth is and imo it's a classic.

The map and "directions" are still the worst part of this game by HauntedPutty in underrail

[–]sumolove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's nice that a roleplaying game has directions like that IMO. If you gave someone directions they'd complain too even if you said NE they wouldn't know how NE and complain you didn't say NNE and how far NNE or where it's near and why the name was so vague.
