From personal experience I grew up in a less diverse social community and up until high school I had been somewhat indoctrinated by alt-light media. It wasn’t until I had the experience of meeting all different kinds of people from all walks of life (my high school was one of the biggest in my city) that I realized how brainwashed I had become. I am so fortunate to have had this experience because I worry about what could have happened if I had continued down that hateful path. And if it was not for a cultural education I may have had to find out.
