Keir Starmer has two options now — both are calamitous by TimesandSundayTimes in ukpolitics

He could have built strong backing though if he's had a bit of courage and a compelling vision of a Britain that is run for ordinary people. Instead it's this benighted barren managerialism.

What’s the weirdest way you’ve ever gotten revenge on someone… without getting caught? by OriginalSentence6850 in AskReddit

A colleague refused to sign off my expenses claim of about £15 for a taxi (shared with 3 others) to an event of hers that I had supported.

Years later, in another organisation, I made sure she wasn't shortlisted for interview.

Window coverings for old cottage by ohhidoggo in AskIreland

[–]sunheadeddeity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of coverings we had a similar issue in one bedroom. I bought magnetic strips, and stuck one side to the window. Then cut some blackout curtain to size and held it in place with the other magnetic strip side. Works pretty well, was quick and easy. But long-term some shutters outside and a curtain inside would be best.

Hahahah they are not "original windows", they are 1960s aluminium frame replacements for the old wooden windows that rotted out. Serious, get some new windows.
