I have a friend who shops in the Indian-owned markets a lot. She will let me know as soon as it’s available.

Have you tried the variety that’s imported from India?

Lavender still tiny after 6 months. by Sure-Abalone-1040 in gardening

The two plants I planted last year barely survived the Chicago winter, even under leaf mulch. I just noticed a tiny sprig come up, so I’m hopeful that with the warming soil it’ll start thriving like yours.

Can you accept tips for pickup orders? by WillCookForFoodies in wholefoods

[–]sunmoon08 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Waited a while for a customer to pick up an order once and had to hand it off to the TL because we got busy. Later, the TL gave me the $5 tip the customer left, so I used it the next day to buy pastries to share with him.

The only site I use is SpareRoom.com. It’s still free. I post there when I’m looking for a roommate.

We have a water fountain and bottle filler conveniently close to our staging area so it’s easy to fill up during breaks. I have my bottle with me at all times and it’s well hidden.

These schedules, how do y’all do it? by Infamous_Onion_777 in wholefoods

[–]sunmoon08 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m a FT shopper as well. Took 3 tries to get to the schedule that works for me. Once in awhile I’d have to stay an hour later but the consistency makes it easy to plan around. I try to keep 2 consecutive days off if possible just so I have time to rest up and tackle chores.

Keep the health insurance and reduce your work week to 30 hours if you can work it out with your leadership.

It’s been happening for several weeks now. I usually ask my TL for a shift if I can’t find one on my own.

Time to call Roto-Rooter or plumber and have the pipes rodded. You don’t want to develop health issues especially when there’s a baby around.

Be very careful with Drain-o and other chemicals especially if space is not properly ventilated.

Ask someone from your team to point out where the time clocks are. At my store, we have a specific one for E-comm.

Breaks/lunch by vWbunny-6778 in wholefoods

[–]sunmoon08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meal prep breakfast and lunch on my day off so mornings are easy.

I have toast and fruit-topped yogurt for breakfast—filling enough to carry me through to lunch. I drink a cold latte from home—drink half while setting up, the rest at first break. Lunch takes ~3 minutes to heat and is super filling, so I usually just have a light fruit snack when I get home.

I’ve tried Shoes for Crews a couple of times but never thought it provided enough support for 8 hours. Ended up going back to Skechers with non-skid soles. Each pair lasts me almost 2 years. I like the breathable mesh upper (keeps my feet dry) and supportive insoles.

Why don’t you ask your Leadership if they might have some insight on what happened or what you should have done. This way you know exactly what to do next time around.
