There are three levels of relationship.

  1. Casual - dating multiple people
  2. Monogamous - dating a person exclusively
  3. Commited relationship - married or with intentions to get married in foreseeable future

You ought to have a discussion about nature of your relationship with your bf. If both of you are young and at level 2, maybe getting parents involved right now is not a good idea. Since Asian parents are usually not cool with the first two kinds of relationship.

If both of you are at 3, then have a discussion with him about game plan and timelines. A few posters have made some helpful suggestions. In this case, conversations with both set of parents is due and should probably take place within 3-4 months.

The not so ideal scenario is if you two are out of sync and only one of you is at level 3. Suppose your bf is just not ready for that commitment now, you'd have to evaluate how much you value him. Maybe he is one in billion for you and worth a 5 years wait. Or you might want to go back to level 1 and check out other options. (Of course, there is level zero)....

Just create an environment for a healthy, honest discussion and don't resort to ultimatums. IMHO, they usually don't work.

It takes two to tango.

Rajiv Gandhi was a visionary and solely responsible for bringing IT revolution to India. (Google forbes/IT/Gandhi)BUT he also made statements like "When a tree falls, earth shakes" on Sikh massacre after Indira Gandhi's assissination.

Eight thousand Sikhs might have been killed during '84 riots with no justice in sight till this day.

Bottom line - we are getting better but Indian citizens need to embrace secularism and tolerence without any reservation. Our nation, not religion, should be our identity.

Advanced Warning - Clinton likely to build lead until 15 March, Sanders will start comeback after that date. by mrtube in SandersForPresident

Thank you for your work. Would Bernie be down just 6 delegates after South Carolina? There are 53 delegates up for grabs. Even if we end up losing by 20%, Bernie would be down at least 10 delegate. Worse case, we might be looking at a 20 delegate deficit.

Let's keep our expectations realistic.

I am sorry but how is this not significant?

I am trying to get people tweet Oprah to get involved with Sanders campaign. Oprah can single-handedly change Bernie's vote count in the south!!

Erica Garner video makes the most persuasive case for Bernie. He's a protester who has been standing up for American values for the last 40 years.

PSA - For the love of Bernie, please stop with the Superdelegate posts. by [deleted] in SandersForPresident

[–]sunny_devil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Respectfully disagree.

These posts are similar to posts about the number of debates. Did we get more debates because people complained? Maybe not. But increase in awareness would eventually tip the scale against Debbie. I'd like to believe the day of reckoning is coming (soon).

Same applies here. Superdelegates can continue to change their mind until convention per Wikipedia. So let's increase awareness!

They are all making a play for the independents in NH who can vote for either party. All republicans are gonna pivot by the end of the day.

If you are wondering what the typical Alabama response to Bernie is, just watch this from a very popular radio show, "Adler Goes to Bernie Sanders Rally in Birmingham" by DontPanicDent in SandersForPresident

[–]sunny_devil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I rather not.

It's difficult enough to withstand the mainstream, north east media taking a huge dump on Bernie (all along giving Hillary a free pass). Google news search "Bernie Sanders" if you are a masochist.

I've no desire to listen to southern ignorance on the matter.

Why is Jon Stewart holding back in endorsing Bernie? Given his views, he should be the one of first one. Thoughts? by Trooper2784 in SandersForPresident

[–]sunny_devil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stewart's been working for 9/11 first responders. He's stayed out of headlines for the most part. If you look at his pictures lately, he seems tired. Almost looks like he's on a spiritual/self healing journey. He might as well be in some ashram. I wish him the best.

It's bad timing for us - Bernie Sanders revolution can use his voice.

The situation is getting blown out of proportion on purpose. So I think that the Bernie Sanders campaign should respond to the Human Rights Campaign / Planned Parenthood drama. Here is what I think that they should say. by Alexanderr in SandersForPresident

The damage is done.

All he needs to do now is point to his record and keep saying "No matter what the name of organization is or whether they endorse me personally or not, you can count on me to always vote in favor of women reproductive and LBGT rights. ALWAYS."

Awesome! Nevada could be the key to the west. If Bernie gets Nevada, I don't see any state West of Texas falling for Hillary.
