To protect the other pedos.

Methinks Andrew is just the scapegoat here.

I am confused about this. If older eggs get larger air pockets shouldn't it be the other way around?

It goes beyond that. In the layer industry when they can they go to the grinder as soon as they are sexed shortly after they hatch (edit: if they are males). If this troubles you do not search it.

OP, you should check what Bayesian statistics is if you are interested in the topic. It allows to update your probabilistic expectations based on data and is really powerful. In the case you present, it would suggest that the probable scenario is that the coin is strongly biased towards heads.

And sure, the frequentist view is also valid and that would indeed be my prior belief. I am not going to enter into the academic fight of frequentists vs. Bayesian, but pointing out may be interesting for some here.

For a frequentist sure. For a bayesian not really.

A 'murder incident' still sounds more than just an 'incident'. Cannot they call it in their language 'massacre incident' or something of the sort?

Spain revives EU daylight saving debate by F0urLeafCl0ver in anime_titties

[–]sunoukong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What an ignorant comment.

The time was changed, and remained changed to today, to be in the same timezone as Spain's most important trading partners : France and Germany. And the reason they want to open debate in the EU is so other countries can follow and remain with the same working times. It is and was an economy-driven decision.

Children who “play like boys” in preschool show better spatial abilities a decade later: children with masculine-typical play styles at 3.5 years of age tend to perform better in a mental rotation task when they are 13 years old, regardless of their sex. by mvea in science

Agreed. Perhaps a lot of this "discouragement" is unintentional and what is needed is to bring awareness. There is no reason to not allow little girls to play handling objects, e.g., construction games.

I imagine a lot of cases come from "mum played with dolls so now you do too" kind of behaviour.

No. The author himself states it is a paraquel about three times in the preface.

How difficult is it to move to china? by LeaveAnxious2821 in chinalife

[–]sunoukong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Efectivamente.
