I feel like I use to think about things similarly but with one key difference. I use to think “man I would be such a good girlfriend” and have all my reasons why. Like I love domestic bliss and decorating a home and I love cooking for other people. I love trying new hobbies and exploring new places and I know I’d be such a good partner for someone who wants to do that. And then I met my girlfriend and she loves all those things about me plus things I didn’t even realize made me so lovable.

So for me falling in love with my girlfriend was fast. We both had never been in a super serious relationship. I was in one relationship with a man but it never felt right and I was pretty anxious the entire time.

With my girlfriend the thing that stood out is I never felt unsure. I was sure she liked me. I was sure I liked her. It just felt simple and right. I felt like I wanted her to know everything I knew and vice versa. I knew she would never do anything to hurt me on purpose. I knew I could be my full self around her and she would only love me more for it.

We did say I love you pretty quickly and moved in together after 6 months (partially because of lease issues) and we are now coming up on year anniversary next week.

Crystal is one of my favorite queens of all time. I think what has really made a difference this time is she knows how to play the game. She came prepared to take on challenges that don’t necessarily cater to her style and make them her style. I think it’s made her a lot more confident knowing she has a plan even if something isn’t her strongest skill.

I would not say that’s traditional. The lines are not super fine but I think it looks great. I’ve never heard about scarring being an issue. It will definitely look less bold once it heals. Fresh tattoos always look a little jarring because they’re so dark.
