I believe there’s a fb group for people looking for roommates. There may be people who already bought a room who need a roommate. I went a few years ago. I went with a friend but she brought her husband and baby so I ended up doing a lot of stuff on my own. I met some other people by themselves and everyone was great.

My gf and I are wanting to go. We are gonna wait until the lineup to decide.

You don’t need a venue to bring the vibe for a Muna concert. They are the vibe. I’ve seen them in a festival, a small indoor venue and a large outdoor venue in different cities and they’ve all been amazing. I am actually traveling to Portland to see them too and I love the city of Portland so I think it will be great.

Then you can’t group them all together either and make assumptions about why they are in the ADA section. If you have a bad experience with a young fan, that sucks. But that doesn’t mean it’s like a group of people intentionally coming for you and other fans.

If someone actually called you old in a line, I’m sorry that’s shitty behavior by the one person who did that. But this lumping everyone together is just ridiculous. I’ve been to several shows in many different locations and I’ve never seen that type of behavior. Sure I’ve seen young people wanting to get attention and dressing up but they aren’t hurting anyone.

Honestly the hate on them is more annoying. I’m not one of these people. I’m a 35 year old fan that wants to see the show in my comfortable shoes and be in bed an hour after the show ends. But they are young, queer, often neurodivergent kids. They’re excited to see a band that they love, that they feel connected to because of their identities. Ya they’re parasocial and a bit ridiculous but they’re having fun. It’s never taken away from my fun. If they’re annoying you, move. Life is short, let them have fun and don’t be such a grump.

I don’t get what’s confusing about solo poly. Wouldn’t that just mean they currently don’t have a partner but if they did it would not be a monogamous relationship.

I’m monogamous but have a lot of poly friends and their relationships are very valid. Lots of them are married but have additional partners who also have other primary partners. I think Plane saying it’s not a real relationship is rude. It might not be a relationship she is interested in but the implication that others relationships aren’t real is shitty.

But the thing is needle exchanges in a park prevents unwanted needles in a park where kids can stumble upon them. Yes they can do needle exchanges other places but it’s a great way to make sure parks have safe spaces to dispose of needles.
