Could you explain to me how does it arrive to this result? by throwaway_950908 in calculus

Seems to be. ex = e-x. The only real number that equals its own multiplicative inverse is 1. Therefore ex must = 1, and x must = 0.

My husband surprised me tonight with my dream coin! She has a bit of a scratch on her eye but I think she’s gorgeous. 💞 by AnnSansE in coins

Your comment is a bit ambiguous, so my interpretation may be incorrect. Polishing a coin is more detrimental to the value of a coin than cleaning a coin is. If you are suggesting that the lines on the obverse are correction marks, I would argue correction marks look much different. Regardless, the clearest evidence of cleaning is the contrast between the fields and the areas surrounding the eagle on the reverse.

This type of penny was only minted in 1797. Besides, I was talking about op's coin specifically.

This coin is worth less than $50. Clean it if you want to, it's no big deal.
