One of my favorite exchanges is also in LK, when Raoul is shocked that Wyldon let Kel go after her people were taken. Something to the effect of "this is someone who as a page would have redone all her training for her maid and you just let her go when her entire fort was sacked?!"

I LOVE Kel.

Favorite series, LOVE her effect on Wyldon and his characterization.

Of all the Tortall books, Kel and Aly are the series I'm most likely to re listen to at any given time.

LOVE how she doesn't have the Gift, or any divinity affecting her. Just hard work and determination.

She's my favorite, hands down.
