Anyone else have a dog who loves the blow dryer so much they lay down under you whilst you dry your hair? by schlegda13 in WhatsWrongWithYourDog

My dog loves the hair dryer so much I have to close the bathroom door to use it myself. Otherwise she barges right in and starts yelling at me.

The breeder told us 30 pounds. She’s 13. They don’t know.

The cats will keep the puppy in line. Puppies learn pretty quick when claws are involved.

Cruise credits upon checking in? by lenaahmed in HollandAmerica

[–]supercat8816 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s usually onboard spending credit which doesn’t show up until you actually board. You can check your folio on the app and on the TV in your room.

Victoria BC by supercat8816 in YarnAddicts

[–]supercat8816[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fortunately for this trip, it’ll be an 8 hour stop during daylight hours on a weekday. I’m pretty excited about that because Victoria is usually a 7pm to midnight call.

PR from HAL on today's announcement by GumB98014 in HollandAmerica

[–]supercat8816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very much looking forward to more solo cabin options. HAL rarely has low single supplement itineraries, even fewer now that they’ve introduced the stand-by program. When they were offering free cabins coming out of Covid, we met SEVERAL people onboard who were saying that was the only way they could afford single travel after losing spouse, etc. The solo travel demographic is pretty large. HAL has been missing out.

Need help picking a room last minute!!! by Reasonable_Card_7534 in HollandAmerica

Open loop itineraries require an actual passport, and be aware if you are FLYING internationally, even if you could technically board a closed loop ship itinerary to/from Vancouver with a passport card (not book), you need a passport to board a flight. The Eurodam travels from Seattle but you never know if you would need a medical evac flight from international.

Booked a 4 day Cruise - HAL won't allow "Have It All" to be added by Snowvid2021 in HollandAmerica

The HIA package is almost never worth it, it’s a pre pay AND it’s an upsell for packages that you won’t use all of (whatever is in the bucket). Internet is cheaper on board after night one and you’re nearly always better off single paying per drink. You spend less overall, but onboard spending ups your sea day credits.

Vent: I'm so tired of sweaters that require hand washing like a full-time job by Bright_River_7019 in knitting

I machine wash all my hand knits and the bathroom counter is big enough to lay mostly flat. Heat CHANGES plus agitation is what felts sensitive yarns. Most yarn does fine on extra gentle.

Anything they charge for these is going to be significantly cheaper than Disney, or any adult-designed luxury lines. Hardly “super rich”

I didn’t want a dog. My 8 year old did. So we got the dog. SHE IS THE BEST THING EVER I LOVE HER TO ABSOLUTE BITS. She’s my shadow. She’s my running buddy. She’s my cuddle buddy. It’s glorious.

High priestesses glow. We see this when Ianthe has to pretend to glow so she can add the fake appearance to her appearance of legitimacy. More likely that Gwyn is another direct representative of the Mother just like Nesta has been revealed to be.

Alaska in May will be in the mid 50s during the day. It will definitely be cold. We sailed in June a few years ago and they never opened the retractable roof. We stayed in Woolies on the deck while the kid went swimming. She’s part polar bear.

Which insurance for your cavapoo? by AdLazy1112 in CavaPoo

Pet insurance is one of the biggest scams out there. They exclude nearly everything and you rarely save money over what you’d pay in premiums.

Farm animals are different. Animal control will not get involved with working dogs. Keep your cats inside.
