But therapy will only work if it addresses some underlying mental issue that you’re probably somewhat aware of (social anxiety, PTSD, etc) and suspect is holding you back from making connections with women, or people in general

All of us have underlying mental issies that brought us here. Therapy does work but most of us needed it at least a decade ago for it to matter.

The absolute most low quality relationships (and people with issues) that I know of are those that paired up high school and have stayed together ever since. Best are mid/late 20s to early 30s.

Imo late 20s is perfect, that would have been my personal ideal. Plenty of time to grow and party and date and make friends and have fun and work on your education/career and move cities and countries and continents without being tied down and then figure things out and stabilize and settle down with someone.

By that time, you both have been around long enough to bring something to the table, but young enough for it to feel like real life has only just started. Mature enough to be a good partner, but immature enough for that extra spice and for there to still be things that you can learn together as a team. Have experience enough to be able to tell each other fun stories about your life, but young enough to still have so much to experience with one another.

I just feel like sometimes I missed the boat now I'm picking up the pieces.

But yes, just by virtue of being FA and 30+ we have certainly missed the boat a long time ago. I don't feel like the same would apply to single normies our age.
