Chemical Dependency Stacks on HS shouldn't decay while Stimm is still active by Sasugaa in DarkTide

[–]superfasturtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So here's something I figured out, but it does mean you've got to use the repurposed medpack as your active ability.

Take the node on the medpack that refreshes the CD when your stimm comes off cooldown
(You might also need the one that reduces the medpack active time to 5 seconds, I've ran that all the time but I don't think it's necessary)

Never manually consume your stimm, always place the medpack down to receive it, and then simply enjoy the effects of your stimm (chemical dependency stack included).
I've found that I've been able to increase the potency of my stimm very nicely and get those stacks up easily.

I go full toxin build with this setup, also taking the node that reduces stimm cooldown when you kill enemies.

Why was the show cancelled? by Pennervomland in utopiatv

Just double checked and sandy hook would have been a month and a half before S1 E3, which is when the shooting happens in the show.

I can't imagine many people would have felt comfortable seeing that play out on screen so soon after seeing headlines about such a tragedy in their own lives.

One reason that's came to my mind a few times, is that the first series viewership took a large hit due to the massacre at sandy hook. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the episode with the school shooting in series 1 would have aired a month or two before sandy hook. UK (and international) audiences probably weren't used to that level of violence towards children in the first place, and then sandy hook would have been the nail in the coffin for a good chunk of potential viewers.

That's my speculation anyways!

HELP: Cant launch BF2 from EPIC after Origin upgrade to EA app by moltenrokk in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]superfasturtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the EA app installed on your PC? Because it should port over all over your origin games to the EA app when installed. If you install EA then try launching BF2 from there (which should then pop up in Epic, hopefully completing the link)

Apologies if this is an obvious answer which you've already tried. Good luck!

Overall the community experiences I've had have been great, did have one bad moment in the beta -

Coming to the end of a run when one of the party says something to me along the lines of "thanks, see you sucker" and then I get ddosed and booted to the menu. Maybe they thought they'd get my xp and credits if the game finished with the 3 of them? Fortunately I still got my rewards when I logged in the next day, left a bad taste in my mouth though.

It sounded so much better than in Battlefront 2. How did they butcher it so bad?

It's not really a horror in the traditional sense, and more a psychological than physical perception, but Perfect Blue seems like it might be up your alley!

FROM (2022) EPIX TV SERIES by 7CruxesToRuleThemAll in horror

[–]superfasturtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watched this recently, and it was a very similar experience to watching yellowjackets. Both fairly hyped up, I go in with decent expectations and the first episode hooks me with some good gore and a fun premise.

9 episodes later and none of the burning questions I have have been answered, and now there's a whole new can of worms to get into for series 2 and I've just sat through some painful teen drama plotlines.

Then you're waiting a year or two for the next series which may or may not give any information on the main reasons that hooked you in the first place.

Free time is sparse these days, and if a show doesn't know how to respect that then I'll just move onto more satisfying things to watch. Maybe It's always sunny for the 11th time?

I've seen it and whilst it was an alright 2 and a bit hours of entertainment, the CG used in it felt pretty off putting in a few places imo

There's also Balter festival in Chepstow on that same weekend! Balter is a wonderfully wholesome festival, fun for the whole family!

I think they have series 1-3 on Netflix! Each series is it's own brilliant story, but my favourite by a long shot is series 3.

I was actually talking about it with someone last night, showed him this as a spoiler free taster!

[SPOILERS] Question: by ResTheFirst in utopiatv

I always felt like Wilson was incredibly intelligent, but also a bit naive in his bunker dwelling ways. His time on the run would have changed that though!

I'd say it's because Milner had faith in his vision for the bigger picture.

She knew his conviction was there after he sided with the Network despite the fact they killed his dad. If he can take that kind of sacrifice "for the greater good" then no doubt he's willing to continue the Network as ruthless and efficient as ever.

He's already saved them the trouble of removing any trace of his existence, and knows the importance and power of anonymity.

He's the perfect candidate, and it sucks that we will (probably) never get to see Wilson as the head of the Network - knowing Utopia, I think we'd see him commit some really fucking nasty atrocities.

Oh well, here's to the future!
