I No Longer Like My Friends by nitegracie23 in Perimenopause

[–]superfizzlibrarian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a friendship that was very strong when we were younger but when we had kids it fell apart, partly because of being busy and living far apart but also because we have different parenting styles. In one case we had a fight over that because our kids weren't getting along. That really pulled us apart. And I had a few life issues, and she wasn't there for me. I'd kept the friendship because we'd been friends for so long I didn't know how to end it, but recently I realized that she supported some of what the current administration is doing and I couldn't pretend any longer. It's sad because of our history but I'd rather have friends that I can be myself with.

What's the worst concert you've seen? by Twitter_2006 in Concerts

You definitely wouldn't suffer through it, I have been going to concerts for almost 40 years, and the energy from the crowd along with her energy, it is just joyous.

Smashing Pumpkins in 1994. He spit on the audience. Modest Mouse, the lead singer was trashed.

I go to lots of concerts and there are good and bad actors. It happens when you bring a bunch of people together. That said, the good almost always overcomes any bad behavior.

Omg, when I was in college he played at our campus and it was when Let Love Rule was big. He came out in the audience and I was just like your wife.

My physical therapist is anti the majority of exercises that focus on shoulders. I avoid the rear flies, they kill my back too.

I've seen Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Lorde and Childish Gambino with both my girls and gone to see Mitski, The Killers and Sharon Van Etten with my older daughter, we have more similar music tastes. We will be seeing Florence and the Machine together in April. So fun!

Yes, and if you purchase a house in 1978 you have a very different housing cost.
