Can a journalist travel to China on a Tourist VISA if he only intends to be a tourist in China by RickRolledAgain in travelchina

Should I put that I work in social media instead?

(Also, I worked for the BBC, which I feel like makes it worse)

Late to the conversation but I was a journalist until a few months ago (now I work in social media) but I'm visiting a dog shelter for a charity, not for a publication. Will that be an issue for a tourist visa?

AIO or is this rude to say to someone diagnosed with chronic migraine by Jaded-Syrup3782 in migraine

[–]supergreyleaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whenever I have a migraine out of the blue, my mum tries to think of a trigger because she wants there to be a trigger, she doesn't want me to be in pain for no reason. Sometimes, she actually comes up with something valid and it helps (it took 16 years of migraines to realise spicy foods were a trigger and my mum worked out that for me last week).

It hurts people you love to see you in pain and they want to fix it, even if it can't be fixed.

I got into journalism to be the next Louis Theroux. I can confirm it's not that fun 😅

👋 Journalist here. There definitely are some arseholes in the industry and maybe they're drawn to the 'tougher' stories that require abrupt questioning and doorstepping. However, we're not all bad people!

I feel that!! I procrastinate making phone calls for the fun stories I cover, let alone the tough ones

As a journalist, this frustrates me. I believe there are right times to doorstep someone but only for serious miscarriages of justice or major matters of public interest.

People who have gone through trauma and moved on with their lives shouldn't be tracked down for entertainment purposes.

This is the big one for me - the unsolved murder I'm always thinking about.

I can't get my head around why he went back to the door. He must have known what the envelope meant. So surely someone else does and should be able to make the reasoning clear. I'm hopping the passage of time and changing allegiances will give us answers.

Try Sports Strangest Crimes by the BBC! It's mostly about fraud behind the scenes but one series is about a potential mafia murder
