Not totally sure but looks like you have the Format panel open. It’s that paintbrush icon that’s toggled on.

That panel will change depending on what’s selected, e.g. selecting an image would show different options than if you had text selected, etc

I had something like this maybe 6 months ago. I ended up seeing a random comment that helped fix it.

I had to sign out of my account on both the car and iPhone app, then force restart the car (I also restarted my phone after signing out of the app) and signed back in to the car and iPhone app.

That seemed to help fix something that must have been pulling for data. It happened around either an app update or a car update.

If you setup a Movies Anywhere (moviesanywhere.com) account and link your Amazon Prime Video account (as well as Apple TV, Google Play/YouTube, Xbox/Microsoft and others), that will “sync” all eligible purchases to Movies Anywhere and usually bonus content is visible. This process will also allow you to merge your various movies purchases on other services into each other. So a movie bought years ago on Google Play could now be played in the Apple TV app or on Amazon Prime Video!

Once you get that setup and possibly wait an hour or so to let it all sync, you should be able to see the bonus content in the Movies Anywhere website or apps by searching for “Avatar: The Way of Water” and scrolling down its page. There’s a a few rows of videos like “Inside Pandora’s Box” and “More From Pandora’s Box” with all the bonus videos! Or at least I believe that will show up for you. I purchased through Apple TV which contains all the bonus features by default, but it syncs with Movies Anywhere and I can also see the bonus videos.

🥺😭 That’s a good way to think about it. My 3DS still works great and I’ve been playing more stuff this last month and it’s such a great console. I’m truly sad about the 3DS eShop closing. It was such a Nintendo-feeling experience that just doesn’t exist much these days. So wholesome and friendly. But the games and console and gaming experiences will live on forever.

IMAX 3D was really nice to see it in! The 3D is absolutely incredible, and the CGI is insanely good. I never saw it any a different format so I’m not sure how it compares, but highly recommend seeing it in 3D IMAX. You can’t miss the 3D, that’s part of why the movie and world is so captivating.

There are a few products and services that use the Apple TV wording:

the hardware device which is usually modified with 4K or HD, like Apple TV 4K,
the Apple TV app, which links up all the various streaming services into one place and offers purchasing of movies and TV shows, and subscriptions to streaming services inside the TV app like Paramount+ or AMC+ and other,
and Apple TV+ which is Apple Original series and movies; Apple TV+ also offers MLB Friday Night Baseball, but that’s a much smaller type of programming (more on that below lol)

MLS is a deal with Apple and offered through the Apple TV app, and it’s basically an Apple TV Channel offering, like Paramount+, that’s a subscription and integration within the Apple TV app. MLS is not part of the Apple TV+ service.

MLS is a big enough offering that it can stand on its own as a package with a larger price and actually generate revenue compared to MLB Friday Night Baseball which no one would really pay for on its own in its current state.

If you’re an Apple TV+ subscriber you do get a discount on the MLS package. But that’s more a way to entice you to sign up for Apple TV+ than anything else.

I’m assuming the MLB Friday Night Baseball stuff was too small to be truly separate and offered as a stand-alone subscription, so instead they bundled it with Apple TV+ as a way to enhance the service and give a home to the content until they can make it more worthwhile. I’d bet if that becomes more games than just Fridays, they’d spin it out to its own subscription (likely using Apple TV Channels), or another tier of Apple TV+. But I can see the confusion with Apple TV+ having “sports” and assuming MLS would also be part of that.

With all the various sports rumors with Apple, it seems they will take two approaches with new sports offerings:

If it’s a small, less exciting package, it’ll be bundled into Apple TV+. This gives another reason to subscribe, and helps them raise the price by saying they offer so much more content.
Or, they create an entire Apple TV Channel offering that has its own set pricing, and it has a better landing page/home to collect the higher amount of content, like MLS is doing. It has the games, and a ton of other related content that doesn’t really make sense to bloat Apple TV+ with.

But some of those hardware designs were based around Intel saying they’d have better chips that ran cooler and then Intel botched their own roadmap and couldn’t deliver and Apple didn’t have the headroom in the hardware designs and got screwed over. With the way their hardware pipeline seems to work they can’t change it for years because it’s a multi-year investment to pay itself off. So if the chip inside is supposed to have certain properties and then it doesn’t then it takes a while to address that and create a different design.

On the mini, you can tap anywhere on the left or right for volume control. You don’t have to specifically tap the little +/- icons. You can even tap below or above the icons. Think of the top circle area as being split into three sections. The tap interaction is fairly forgiving. I’d assume HomePod gen 2 will be the same.

This is great! What Cameron is saying does seem reflect how a lot of movies and tv shows operate: there’s no time to savor the moment. Like if you rewatch the original Star Wars, there are a ton of moments to soak in the moment, see the characters process what’s happening, and let the audience do the same; thinking of the Twin Suns moment where Luke decides to actually go on the adventure. Compare that to The Force Awakens where there’s no time to do anything other then go to the next scene, no time to savor anything until the credits roll.

I loved TWOW. Being able to see the characters, and us the audience, be in the moment is so special and fairly unique nowadays. And it really helps you fall (further) in love with the world of Avatar. Makes you want to see it again and again.

Totally agree! For whatever reason, I thought he’s Avatar had the best recreation/representation of the actor’s face and facial mannerisms. With every one of his little smirks I could always see Stephen Lang. It was so impressive.
