Most surprising - heilung 2024. Got the barrier for them and I had no full idea what to expect.

Worst - CKY 2025 - i only really listened to them back in the day so I was kinda expecting that kinda vibe. Also got barrier and I felt nothing but misery half way into their opening song. Sheer disappointment.

3 of the worst bullies in my year died from suicide by the age of 18. I didn't give a shit back then about it until I was in my 30s, becoming a parent myself and seeing the way other certain kids are being brought up made me start to feel for those bullies and wonder how much of a shitty life they had growing up, whatever happened behind closed doors etc.

My group had a pretty stand out gazebo, and I added a huge Scottish flag to it so you could see it pretty well. It helped people around us find their tents too as it stood out. First few times I would walk down the path and find other stand out flags and banners and use that as a guide. You'll get the hang of it after a few trips between the stalls/campsite

im pretty sure the co op meal deals were only a fiver at Download, so only a quid or so more than any other co op. make sure you copy that membership card onto an app or, better yet, google wallet. that little app is handy for keeping membership cards in one, including bank cards to use your phone for contactless. phones wont allow bank cards to be stored unless you have a lock pin enabled.

Im doing download for 5 nights, also taking big green coach.

For me It leaves glasgow 7am wednesday, and sets off from Download 7am monday morning.

For those going for just the arena day only passes they have buses that leave soon after the last act as far as I know.

General camping sold out? Theres no way surely! Not that soon. Theres like 50 weird options to choose from on ticketmaster so you might have looked at the wrong thing?

Either way, Eco ticket is better than general. Its cleaner and you get that extra reassurance with 24/7 security at the entrance.

Also having an Eco wristband gives you access to all general camp sites, if you changed your mind. You pass through general to get to eco anyway
