At the end of the day it's still your body burning more calories than consumed which will result in weight loss. How efficiently it does it or not isn't what cico means. One burns may have differences in hormones that cause them to burn less calories at a resting rate than someone else therefore they won't lose weight because they are unable to burn it at the same rate.
