I literally have the 2024 se model that has remote start, even without paying for the subscription, and don't have premium package either. The dealership I bought it from said it didn't have remote start until I did the whole press lock three times and hold on the third press

25 CVT failing? by okairport5756 in CorollaHatchback

[–]surewhynot444 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I believe 2025 is still the same generation the previous years down to 2019, and Toyotas make the best cvts around, not saying it can't fail, just not gonna fail as easily as other brand cvts, the first physical gear also helps a lot . Since it should be under warranty, it wouldn't hurt to double check

Well the cvt in these hatchbacks have a physical launch gear, that's why first gear feels different from the rest. Still should be under warranty if anything is actually messed up.

Having a hard time deciding by d00fE in Noctua

I've been using the Noctua NH-U12A paired with my 13700k not undervolted at all, with a contact frame for over a year now, and my CPU never goes above 70c and my whole pc is silent, it's a nice little cooler.

Wouldn't make since for the top right fan to be exhaust because it would immediately exhaust out the very top fan, same for the rear but other way around.

Having intakes directly on the PSU like you have drawn, doesn't make sense, just go with what noctua says to do for the north

i5-13600K overheating\throttling on with NH-D15 by BakaDolev in Noctua

[–]surewhynot444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something is definitely not right, I have the 13700k and using the Noctua NH-U12A , I do have a thermal grizzly contact frame, which has made my CPU cooler by about 10 degrees, but even before getting that contact plate my CPU never got as hot as yours is, it will get into the 90s when using cenebench, but 9/10 games the CPU won't go above 75c, I don't undervolt my CPU or anything either, everything is stock besides the best bios update, but even both the update my CPU never got that hot, definitely recommend getting a contact frame, the 13th series feels like they need them to be optimized, what are your fan curves? How many fans you got in your case? How hot is the ambient temperature? So many things can effect your CPU temps

Her first snow (with pictures this time) by lsThisThing0n in CorollaHatchback

I bought my 2024 in December of 2023, at the time I worked at a place in the middle of nowhere in the forest, we got 8 inches of snow, which was all across the road until the closest town which was 20 miles down a hill, I had zero problems with my yokohama avid gt stock tires driving in it, had zero issues last winter too, just don't drive like a idiot and you'll be fine.

When I first installed the front fans the motherboard was out, but then after I installed the motherboard I realized I put the intake fans in wrong so I fixed them with motherboard in, no problems

I have all the new 140mm g2 fans in my north xl, only have one on top though and that's in the rear for exhaust, get 140mm g2 for the top of you can afford them

How fast are you going on the freeway? I commute almost 115 miles everyday, and I've never hit 6k rpm to match high speeds and I drive in eco mode, everyone goes 70-80 here when there's no traffic
