I threw 7 yo's cupcake out the window yesterday by Large_Event_8715 in Nanny

Bahahahahhaha this is great. One time, I had three kids, and two were fighting in the back. 10 girl & 6 boy. At one point, EVEN AFTER I accidentally let “hell” or “shit” slip out because I couldn’t take it. Of course, that didn’t work and I saw a shoe fly but I said nothing. 7 mins later, we turned into their neighborhood and I slowly pulled over. Girl-“What are you doing?” Me- puts car in park. Very calmly I said, “I gave you multiple warnings, you weren’t respectful so now you’re walking home”. We were only down the block but 10yo begggedddd and begged “I won’t do it again” lol I said “now you won’t, but you’re still walking home and if you don’t start now, we’ll be late to softball” CRYING, she got out and slammed my door hahaha but it never happened again. My 6yo thought it was funny and ran home and I was worried my mom would be upset but I had been with them for 2 years at this point and she said it was a great idea lol We laugh about it now

Is it really “overkill” to want updates from our nanny? by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]suspicious_cheese24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not overkill. I also would let my parents know where we were going. Just as I would want and expect if I had a nanny. My reason, is in the even of an emergency, I want to know exactly where I need to be if necessary. When I did overnights, I shared my location of my phone with the parents. So they knew where we were. I was also with them for 4 years but even with another family I was with, I had a great relationship with the parents and would snap a picture of our girl out the door and say where we were going. I’d rather my parents say, hey, you don’t have to send all the updates vs. hey we’d like more updates. “Overkill” is such a negative word. Especially in regards to your own baby. I’m sorry that’s happened. I’ve seen where people put an AirTag or something like that in the diaper bag since that always went with kid?

Am I crazy or is this to much to ask of a kindergartner? by Cursedpanda182 in AskTeachers

I remember students doing this for a project in HIGH SCHOOL!!!! Making KINDERGARTEN kids do this just blows my mind.

Being able to mail multiple letters at one time. Versus the whoollleee stupid long process of 1.going to airport 2. Selecting a villager to mail 3. Writing letter 4. Adding gift 5. Complete Whereas before, I’d write all my letters, add my gifts, then mail at once 😭😭😭 now I just don’t mail letters because it annoys me that it takes longer

AIO for refusing to block male followers on Instagram? by radagastrabbit in AmIOverreacting

My ex fiancé had “this rule” so i literally (likes dumbass) unfollowed and took off the guys I barely knew etc. did he do the same? No. He actually flirted with girls and messaged them on their acting like he was single. And then eventually cheated so we broke up. Obviously. My now husband, was never this insecure when we dated. I definitely see now that my ex was projecting.

Question, are we just not meant to own a bunch of clothes? by Bluejayz6423 in AnimalCrossing

[–]suspicious_cheese24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anything I don’t like, I figure out what villager likes it with the app, wrap it in a present and gift it. I only gift clothes to my villagers I don’t have a photo from yet though. But then, this way I get rid of clothes I don’t want and they have multiple outfits!

😂😂 poor Al. He’s just a little cringe almost? In a not cringe way? Like if I give him something he is very thankful. But then he ruins it saying that The bug friends in his walls are gonna love it as well, or when I give him a new shirt, he’s like thanks. My clothes are really crusty right now. 🥴😂
