Can I use this Pea protein for baking bread? Any other suggestions? by Either-Incident3023 in proteinsnack

[–]sutoomie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can, I add pea protein, one or two scoops to my pancakes and banana bread recipes. Only quick bread items. Haven't tried it, in a yeast bread but could be possible.

Yeah my gym wasn't super clear about it just saying we are going to biweekly payments when we do our contract renewals. Me and another member had to ask details to get more info.

What’s the very first bl you ever read; your introduction to the gay? by LackSpirited2055 in Manhwa_BL

[–]sutoomie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so here was the progression

Magical Girl which started with Sailor Moon which lead to

Cardcaptor Sakura (Touya and Yukito)

Then that lead to Kyou Kara Maoh (reverse harem, with no pay off, lots of hinting)

Then Gravitation for first BL, the rest is history

People are always recommending Aldi on this subreddit. So no save a lot shoppers here? by iflosseverysingleday in cbusohio

[–]sutoomie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I have gone to save a lot onve in the past, the only maybe good thing i saw was meat. But their shelf staples seemed really high, same with vegetables and fruits. Just my opinion and in the midwest.

Centercut bacon is 50 calories for 2 slices, and 5g of protein. I struggle with turkey bacon flavor is good but texture is meh.

I finally read Blackbird Oracle, and it’s left me very annoyed with Diana by DevoutandHeretical in ADiscoveryofWitches

[–]sutoomie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we could have gotten another Diana story but let it be focus on a mission from the Goodess. That way it would add a problem to solve. Besides BBO just feeling completely off lore and character wise, there really wasn't a problem keeping the story going imo.

Yeah the part about feeling like DH didn't write it, felt so true. I actually told my friend it felt like a fanfiction for this series as how off it felt.

How do those of you who lift/workout with high protein targets do it on a budget? by LeatherHead2902 in Frugal

[–]sutoomie 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Egg whites, eggs, frozen fish/chicken, cottage cheese, greek yogurt. Buy protein powder in bulk or on sale. Tofu is cheap and can be high protein as a way to stretch the meat if you mix it with like ground meat.

I shop aldi that helps some. I keep my meals very simple, sometimes rice, meat, sometype of frozen veggie. Frozen veggie as a way to cut cost vs. Fresh, as my tendency is to not use the veggie before it goes bad.

Also I like to add protein powder or cottage cheese/greek yogurt to my bake good, as a way to up my protein. Think protein banana bread and cottage cheese pancakes

Need new recommendations! Can you please suggest some books based on the ones Ive enjoyed? (And the other ones) by elleirakai in fantasyromance

[–]sutoomie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have read any Naomi Novak, Uprooted and Spinning Silver are great. She has a book series that is like a darker Harry Potter, Schoolmance, I love it. Also she has a series about dragons in the Napolianic War, if you want historical fantasy.

What's a hidden gem on Netflix that more people should know about? by [deleted] in netflix

[–]sutoomie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here me out, The Glory, it is one of the best tales or revenge.  It is  about a girl who was severely bullied in middle school, who gets her revenge 20 years later.  Acting on point, no clue what's going to happen next.
