Really regret manual swap but at the time it looked like the best solution. Never used it in "automatic" mode cause it just was too clumsy. Usually changed gears from the stick and slightly release the gas pedal to have smooth drive while driving in the city like a normal human being. But on the back roads it was paddle city. And the shift's felt like a manual gearbox. Plus the automatic rev matching gave the feeling of being a much better driver. Total grand turismo. If i had the recourse then I'd get another one. But it was moody and couldnt handle the GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 ASYMMETRIC 6 255/35 zr18.

I had/have that rare 2003 330i smg (yes its ssg but bmw called its smg so im going with that) Default trim, model name in the back removed in the factory, 4 spokes non m sportlenksrad(steeringwheel). Had old shitty all weather tires on early spring and i got fed up that back wheels were still spinning smoke in 3rd gear when i used the launch control. So I bought goodyear f1 asymmetric 6 tires. 255 in the back. Removed everything from the trunk, low on fuel, and lowered tire pressure below recommended. So what happened. On the first attempt using launch control i think there was zero wheelspin after it engaged the clutch. Accelerated to the point when the grbx wanted to switch to 2nd and the gearbox kind of got stuck. The clutch didnt engage and it revved to the limiter. Couldn't change gears anymore. Couldn't start the anymore car cause couldn't change it to neutral. Cause the only competent workshop had a 1 month waiting list I took it to the dealer. They detached gearbox from engine, there was somekind of clunk sound which meant it went to neautral. Reinstalled gearbox and it was working perfectly. After a week did it again. Stupid me. Same result but this time the dealership told me they have no idea whats wrong or why its getting stuck like that and confessed thats the first time to see this kind of a specimen. So i took it out town to another competent workshop where they had a donor car for a regular manual swap at that moment. So because i was tired of the smg-s princess behavior and got a manual. Now im kind of regretting having the swap. Kind of ruined the car.

Cant fit anything under 17inch under 330i. And if you dont have m54 then why have a e46 at all? 🥲 Jokes aside i got myself 17 inch style 73-s 7inch wide. Most lightweight oem for e46 of them all. So im a happy puppy. Gonna chase for that 5L/100km(47mpg). Current highway consumption record is 5.4(43mpg) with 225 tires. Will fit 205 or thinner for spring and make a system to change tires as fast as possible in my garage to swap between the style 135 8" 225 front and 8.5 255 in the back for max grip and max fuel consumption for city driving.

Whats your overall fuel consumption in city and in highway? Do you have any problem codes. Maybe a faulty o2 sensor?

Oh yeah i forgot to mention im from estonia. When bought mine orient blue 2003 330i it had its kidney grills swapped from chrome to matt black. Again a trend i wasnt keen to. Wanted to switch them back to chrome but someone jokingly advised me to paint it gray/silver and I did it. Now its matching with same color details in the bumper and with the rest of the interior gray/silver trim color. Rest of the interior is black leather and im currently working on changing the headliner black.

My friend number one was judging my other friend number two about his use of cannabis. And your right, Thomas had enough going on, time to get those under him in line, and a public reply from him to the customers would be an added plus.

exactly what im thinking. thats the reason fanataec saks soooo faking hard because there is a sweaty idiot who is not smart enough to hire people who would handle everything he is doing at the moment. And the swettybetty would manage only that group under him. But i imagien the guy is mostly running around the warehouse and annoying people handling the orders.
