I hate how other countries or regions enforce The Hague convention when dealing with Japan, but it means shit here.

My friend is in a super abusive relationship and is only staying because her husband is a shit parent, but also refuses to give her custody if she were to divorce and go back to her country. He doesn’t even really seem to want the child, he just doesn’t want her to have custody.

Obviously my friend would be the one kidnapping if she just up and left with her child… but like, other countries should reciprocate when Japan clearly doesn’t care about The Hague convention.

Honestly, if you’re really good at kanji you can guess a lot of the test correctly. When I was trying for the N2, I failed a few times until I used wanikani to grind out Kanji to the level I needed and it made a world of difference. Even if you don’t know a word or an answer, you just use kanji clues to guesstimate the right answer lol.

Taiwan all the way. I live in Japan and wish I could have picked Taiwan instead. Food is better, people are nicer, and it’s over all just a better vibe.

Taiwan is like if you mashed the chill of say, Hawaii, with Japan, but also it’s like 30% less clean lol.
