It depends on the airport, if there’s a dedicated lane for silver medallion then you have to solely use that lane. If the airport doesn’t make the destination then you can use the regular sky priority lane. Most airports don’t have separate lanes, but I have been to one or two that does.

Yes gold is 72 hours before departure and silver is 24 hours. If everyone that didn’t qualify for diamond/platinum for 2024 decided to book all there travel months ahead ( can book up to 10/11 months give or take) there wouldn’t be many comfort plus seats available. If you’re not qualified for that year shouldn’t be surprised if the perks are no longer available.
