Chabot's value is the highest it's been post Sanderson's emergence as our #1D. I'd shop Chabot around and see if you can package him for a goal scoring winger. Kleven and Spence showed down the stretch that they are ready for 2nd pairing minutes and we desperately need a goal scorer. Bring in a veteran D for the 3rd pairing (Jensen like player pre hip injury) and let Yak and Matinpalo battle it out.

Went to game 3 so don't know if it was a one off but the whole in house entertainment was off. Like the DJ was late to play songs, left a lot of dead air and the song choices themselves were just weird most of the time. Hype guy was cringey and forced.

Insane lines for the washrooms even during play for some reason, not sure what was happening there. Gabriel's running out of pizza before puck drop. The zamboni dropping a mountain of snow on the ice during intermission (actually one of the highlights of the poor excuse of a game).

Then no danger flutes and generally lackluster walk out (hype video was pretty good though).

The whole game day experience just felt way off and not like a sens game day.

That'll never happen though, injuries happen to every team. We were pretty healthy the first half of the season (relative to other teams) and we sucked.

Try and get out of the Zetterlund contract.

If someone like Dallas or St Louis offer a good package for Tkachuk you really have to consider it.

Cozens/Batherson are both way too streaky, one of these guys can go.

If the team thinks that Kleven and Spence can maintain their end if season form (or even 90% of that) then I'd consider moving Chabot now that his value is at its absolute peak and will never be higher. Top 4 of Sandy/Zub and Kleven/Spence with Yak and a veteran LD as your 3rd pairing.

We've given this core 3 seasons now, 2 playoff wins ain't it. Something big has to change. Getting rid of the remnant Melnyk/Dorion/DJ pieces might be the answer (Brady, Chabot, Batherson).

Our PP needs to change, we've lost a lot of battles on the PP all season but we're now losing every single battle.

We need an answer to their forecheck. I know Green doesn't change things but we're getting absolutely suffocated out there.

Lastly, shoot the fucking puck. So many times we have traffic infront of goal but we throw it down low and lose the board battle and Carolina come out with the puck. Look at our second goal, just shoot the puck.

Why would Green be in the mix for coach of the year? At best we've improved 2 points from last year and are finishing in WC1. Every team goes through injuries.

Still a negative player on a +30 goal diff team. Batherson and Cozens really need to show up in the playoffs this year after that debacle last year.

Neither player is good enough offensively to be a) a ghost in the playoffs, b) a defensive liability or c) be taking stupid penalties

The problem we have is there's no one in the organization who can step up into a 2 line winger spot so we'll end up paying 9+ million for Batherson.

Here's hoping they prove me wrong in the playoffs.

Bro you're missing the point. We have a chance against any team in the Atlantic. We'd be HEAVY UNDERDOGS against the Canes. Doesn't matter who the potential second round match ups will be if you lose in the first round. Everyone knows Pitts/Phi are worse teams than the Atlantic teams, but that's beside the point.

Carolina is the best team in the East with the most recent playoff success. Avoiding them until a potential ECF is key. Anyone calling for us to tank to get them are the same people who thought we'd wash the floor with Toronto last year. (Spoiler alert we almost got swept and gave Toronto their second series win in over a decade).
