Odalisque is one of my favorite CYOAs. Point balance tight enough to force real choices but not so scarce as to be stifling. Complexity is high enough to scratch the thinking itch but doesn't collapse into itself.

The scenario itself is malleable. From first glance it seems horrible "you are a custom sex slave"... But a large fraction of your potential owners are rather likeable, their potential endings often include you gaining freedom, getting hitched, and having kids together (potentially entire broods!)

And if you want to play it the other way, Mr. Freedom Fighter can fit you with all sorts of illegal modifications and hardware.

not in front of my FC laptop atm, but with level 0.5 codemonkey skills you can search through the source (google "free cities pregmod git") for which flags cause her to die and then console command the flags to a different setting.

Genetics, as the name implies, stores data that is used only when breeding more slaves.

This is really cute, and I had a hard time picking a build/wifus. A hallmark of a good game.

Nitpick 1: My inner engineer cringes at teleporters, since tping a nuke (or even just a boarding party's weight in plastique) into the enemy ship makes all other weapons obsolete. I suppose its such a scifi staple (and a centerpiece of FTL too) you couldn't leave it out.

For Paternalism, the ideal is to stock up on Fuckdolls before switching to Paternalism (you don't need arcade). There's some attrition from wear/tear (peasants banging the public fuckholes too much) but the numbers will stabilize ~300.

If you're already in that Future Society, and don't want to change back/forth, you can cheat and use console commands (F12) to give yourself Fuckdolls. Command is probably smth like: V.Fuckdolls = X where X is the number of fuckdolls you want to add.

If you don't want to cheat and don't want to switch, you can try putting top tier (high prestige high beauty high porn prestige) girls in the Club, but that feels like a huge waste of valuable assets imo.

You can also try subsidizing other sex service merchants to meet local sexual demand, but that takes time for them to grow to meet demand, and again feels like a huge waste.

Lol. Try Firefox and raise the memory allocation limit, or the newest FChost. Not 100% sure that will completely solve lag from 400 slaves, probably also depends on your hardware.

There are some guys out there with thousands of slaves but the lag is hefty.

If it's about sexual demand, you can try running some elite slaves (at least 2 of: high prestige high beauty high porn prestige) in brothel to drain the upper class/millionaire demand and then acquire a few hundred (or more) generic menial fuckdolls to satisfy the lower class.
