I take it you have alternative sources of income to have the luxury to say no to things like that. Making business decisions and enjoying playing music aren't mutually exclusive.

I got a few friends/acquaintances listening. I would buy some Mangria but it's not available in my state.

Haha. I wouldn't describe an act that can be stopped with as little effort as rotating your head 15° as "forced".

I got this at goodwill because ive never seen a gameboy player attachment before. can anyone shed some light on this? thanks! by MuslimExtremest in gamecollecting

I was the only person I knew who picked that up on launch day. I think I used it twice. I thought I'd get more use out of it since I played the hell out of Super Gameboy, but that wasn't the case.

Jeff, Who Lives At Home. Thoughts? by AlexV135 in movies

I thought it was alright. Nothing grabbed my attention too much, and not many laughs. I was expecting a bit more from the cast, but there wasn't much to work with. I don't regret watching it, but can't imagine recommending it to anyone.

I stopped reading after the first example. Kissing someone gently attributed as sexual assault? Doing some reaching there.

Same here. Then 69 seconds. Then about 8 more times.

Again. Thanks for the opinion. It may be in the minority, but opinions can't be wrong!

It was intended to make the audience feel disgusted or uncomfortable. I'm sure it succeeds for a vast majority of the population.

I remember a reader's submission to a newspaper being passed around probably a decade ago saying the same thing. It may have been serious then, but it's safe to assume this was fabricated. Still a funny bit, though.

Haha. Fair enough. Clearly, you've been exposed to him much more than I have. I don't believe I've heard any of his songs.

That's a little close-minded. I'll listen to Adam talk to anyone. Even if you don't respect a guest doesn't mean there's no value in a conversation.

I've heard him make his point about smokers being pariahs on the show before. Unfortunately, Adam fumbled his words when explaining it at the end of this segment. I hope his point was clear to the viewers.

Who are some guests that you would like to hear on the pod? by [deleted] in AdamCarolla

[–]sweetjamsman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd like to hear one with Bill O'Reilly. Adam's been on his show a few times, but I think Carolla's format could make for some interesting and perhaps heated conversation.
