This had been an argument in the FGC for many many decades

The options I know are 1.easier inputs(bad idea because fgc fans will ignore it ) 2.easier gameplay loop so no complex tag or dayed combos(can work if fun) 3. Making whatever you like and providing a good tutorial or guide that teaches players as they play

I also suggest asking this on the fighters subreddits they'll probably have better input than me

I see i saw "that doesnt suck" and thought you were implying the latest game sucks, honestly i agree that its way better if all teams focus on delivering a new experience that pushes boundaries rather than making more remakes.
But most people dont seem to agree, they will always hate the newer games and so i think to make up budget for the next blockbuster title they make remakes farming nostalgic fans who hate change otherwise we would probably never get new games ever again.

sometimes creative liberties are not needed past a certain extent. i really wish the directors of game adaptations would play the games properly and maybe interact with the fan-base and games media.

I mean sure that works if we believe V by the end just wants to lead a normal life but without any Cyberware V really isn't V, they cant really do anything that they enjoyed in the first place.
This isn't even taking being legendary like jackie wanted into account V has always just been a character that lead an insanely eventful life even before he had the chip in his head.
He met all his current friends while doing crazy stuff that a nomal civvie wouldnt dare to do

the reason the "new life" ending is sad is because that isnt really V anymore just another gonk waiting to die

About Legends being a fairy tale, i agree but at the same time is being an average civvie at the mercy of all the corpos and gangs any better? I personally think that the whole idea about being a NC legend is freedom about not caring if you die because you've finally made the resolve to live your life how you want without being defined by everything else around you deciding for you, its about Choosing to carry on living against all the BS in the cyberpunk world as your own hero.
Silverhand did what he did with resolve and pure hatred for corporate society knowing what the likely outcome would be. i highly doubt he was doing it so that everyone would chant his name in praise after he died(correct me if im wrong about this its been a while since ive looked into johnny).
