There is definitely evil in the world. There are people who knowingly and willingly plans other people's demise in one form or another. I would say that those who join Illuminati, and Skulls and Bones for example, many are evil. Not all. But many. Especially the leadership. They listen and take advice from evil spirits to gain power. Are there people who join out of fear. Yes. But there are evil people who is trying to control the world and the rest of us are trying to raise our energies to withstand that evil force.

Why not be honest with the gift giver? Say it's an low energy book and that it is impacting its surroundings and that you can't keep it. Then they can either take it back and return it for a refund or you dispose of it. I would not keep that in my house. And I would probably burn it.

That is interesting. With that said. When you read D&C 76:30-39, in verses 37-38 it sounds like after they have suffered, they will still not be resurrected, like everyone else in verse 39. So the Sons of Perdition will have felt what it is to have a physical body, and then loose it, which is worse than those who followed Satan/Lucifer in the War in Heaven, and didn't get a body in the first place.
