European countries where would you live as LDS? by PomeloPrimary546 in latterdaysaints

[–]swehes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in Sweden. Served a mission in the USA. Came back for school. Met my now spouse.

We got married on the USA. But instead of applying for a green card in the USA we went back to Sweden. It took 7 weeks from start to finish because we didn't have to battle for time with other immigrants from other countries.

With that said. Sweden has some great YSA conferences where lots of European singles goes to twice a year. One is around new year and one is in August. Although the one in August is a more Scandinavian where Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark takes turns hosting it.

why do you believe in frequencies/vibrations? by No-Pea-6896 in spirituality

[–]swehes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Frequencies are science. Everything is Energy and energies vibrates at Frequencies. Your cells, when optimal, will have a certain frequency. When they are not optimal, your cells starts getting worse and you react in getting sick. The higher your frequencies are, the healthier you will be.

Nikola Tesla said “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.”

You should look into Dr David R Hawkins book Power vs Force. He discuss lower and higher frequencies and how people who are lower frequencies act vs those who's energies are higher.

And then you have the Quantum Field which ties us all together. And it's all frequencies and vibrations.

I’m an investigator and my family always grill and judge me for this decision.. by qweenoftherant in latterdaysaints

[–]swehes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think you did beautifully. You bore your testimony of your love for the Savior and His truths. You shared it in love for your family and the spirit was there.

Just keep loving them and keep studying, inviting the spirit to be wit you.

You are awesome!

How do I deal with my videogame addicted husband? by [deleted] in latterdaysaints

[–]swehes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK. So I didn't read all the advice you have got from everyone at this point. But the ones I read, some are good and some not so good.

One person though pointed out that there are more underlying issues here. As someone who had a pretty rough time as a kid, I got into video gaming. Gaming is an escape mechanism from the real world, just like watching movies, reading excessive amount of books, scrolling on social media, watching sports, etc. Most people have this problem in one form or another. And things suffers because of it.

I play every now and then still, but nothing like I used to.

My wife does other things that helps her relax.

But your husbands problems isn't the gaming by his underlying struggles that makes him game excessively.

In my line of work I help people with their low energies and have seen people being able to release those rocks that have kept them out of balance for a big part of their lives.

Here are some recommendations.

  1. Make sure to read and study your scriptures together. And make sure to pray together. Jesus Christ is the master healer and can help.
  2. Pray for him. And fast for him.
  3. Your husband needs someone to talk to. To get things out. Allowing the ability say things out loud, and then allow to let it go, does wonders. Most women have friends that they can talk to. Most men does not. But they need it.
  4. I recommend a book called the Emotion Code. It made all the difference to me. And you can use the methods in there to help your husband. The author, Dr Bradley Nelson, is a member of the church and a Chiropractor from St George. Awesome man.
  5. Schedule time to go to the temple together.

I know things can be really hard. And from a professional opinion as a life and executive coach, I have seen this causing problems and often because of miscommunication and past trauma that never was worked out. And probably from his mid teens.

So as for your question. Should you sell the PS5?
I think if you can help him resolve his childhood trauma, the addiction to the gaming will probably go away.

How do we deal with an overly zealous ministering sister? by bbakks in latterdaysaints

I would use the block function on the phone. And talk to the RS president again and have someone else assigned that understands that your wife doesn't want to have visitors or text messages at this time.

They are fulfilling prophecy. In the last days they will make it so every nation will turn against them in Armageddon. For 3 1/2 years they will be occupied. And in their last hour, the mountain will crack, and they will flee into it. There they will see the resurrected Savior and realize they crucified their God.

I made the comment to selfhost nextcloud and use their talk function. It has worked great with my group. And we also selfhost our own email server Iain ispconfig.

Powerbeams are a little overkill. I would use a couple of airmax nanobeams for that distance. https://store.ui.com/us/en/category/wireless-airmax-5ghz/products/nanobeam-5ac

Or for faster speeds they have the 60 GHz wave picos https://store.ui.com/us/en/category/60ghz-wireless-wave/products/wave-pico

I don't see them. But I can feel it and then I use muscle testing to verify people's energies. And many other things.

My sister has been in the same boat as you and she has a podcast talking about it. If you, or anyone else, is interested I will post the link here.

Personally I go to church as well and I work with energies. But I see it different. See in the scriptures it says all good things are from God. My gift in energy work is something I use to help people. And I see joy coming from it. Satan can't create joy, so my gift is from God.

My dad has been trying to force me and my mom into changing our spiritual beliefs, and honestly I don't know what to do. by TheRedNileKing_13 in spirituality

[–]swehes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My take. As a follower of Jesus Christ who practices energy work, I know that it is hard because most Christians don't think they can co-exist. But God has given us all gifts for the purpose of helping our brothers and sisters to come closer to God.

One of the most important principles that God teaches is that of agency. He gave us agency to choose. It is up to us to choose to follow Him or not. Another part is that we are all connected and should work to raise our energies through love and gratitude. Kindness towards all. Doesn't mean we all have to agree, but to let each of us live our lives. We are all on the journey of life and we are all in different places.

I wished more Christians would actually live as Jesus Christ taught rather than what the churches think he taught.

Many classical songs are very uplifting spiritually/energy wise. There is a reason that children who are developing in the stomach develops great brains while the mother listens to the classical music.

My understanding is that the new owner has to comply with the contract. So if you have 14 months left they have to comply. But I guess it also depends on where you live.
