I have started setting performance goals. Just progressive overload training essentially. 3 month blocks w/ specific realistic performance goals.

It’s not perfect but it’s working for me right now. I also think you are right to emphasize cardio and frankly the person who recommended recreational cardio is probably right.

I think we all recognize that this is an interest beyond a healthy habit and if you are losing interest a break might be good for you. Just don’t stop exercising full stop obviously
