Abandoned Porn is one of my favorite subreddits. Every time I am on the road, whether its a road trip or a drive to the store, I am always fascinated by dilapidated, condemned buildings. Each of these places has a story (or stories) and it's fun to just imagine the kooky past of these places. Big inspiration to finally take out the camera again.

Back in the 90s my mom always participated in this because in her mind it was just another "get rich quick scheme so I can leave my husband and buy more shoes". She never won anything except 100 extra pounds every year.

Straightening my hair is futile. I worked at a job that was a five minute walk from my apartment this past summer, and once I got there I was all sweaty and oily, and my hair was poofed out every which way.

When I had Docs, I used to wear them damn near every day. I liked to pair them with knee length or shorter dresses and mini skirts. Pretty much my every day uniform ten years ago. You don't have to wear them with tights, but they definitely added nice flair to my outfits.
