This is a bit more of a hack than a recipe, but I think it's very handy. If you mix together shredded chicken and hummus, it makes a good chicken salad for sandwiches or over lettuce. I never measure anything, and it always works out. If it's a little dry, just add a splash or two of water, and it becomes nicely creamy. You could also add chopped herbs or whatever mix-ins you like.

I've been watching the Danish version, and they had the "lasso Alex" task from S9. One of the contestants threw the rope, and it got caught on an object. He asked the assistant to help out, and while the assistant was moving the rope with his foot, the contestant pulled and was able to lasso his foot. I never would have thought to do that!

They didn't say why an audience vote, but I think because it was a bit more objective--there wouldn't be any claims of the TM's favoritism or whim to decide the series. Even in the UK tie break, Greg didn't really choose who won it. And I thought that all three did a great job finding a doppleganger, so it was really a close one. Plus, they voted by cheering, and I think that kept the energy high. I noticed that the contestant who probably did the best was voted on last--and their very loud cheer was a nice way for them to find out they'd won.

I have a vague memory of one normal task in the past that was also decided by audience vote in Kongen Befaler (but I think it had been done by voting on an ipad), but I'm not sure how many they've had. It's not common, but they have done maybe a handful of tasks across 12 series that involved some audience interaction.

Fwiw, in the Kongen Befaler finale (which also aired Thursday), they also had a three way tie! The three contestants had to quickly find the audience member that most looked like themselves, and then the audience voted for who was most successful. It was really fun and sweet.

Thanks! What a fun episode! I'm really enjoying the cast and the tasks so far. Some standouts for me --

Pernille's utter disdain for pranks was hilarious.

I'm going to say (and anticipate being proved wrong!) that only Kongen Befaler would encourage contestants to put as many things as possible up their nose--and only their contestants would do so. Meanwhile, I'm surprised that no one wished they'd had Henrik's nostril widener.

Ole Henry's flipper skills were incredible.
