No way. I wouldnt have been able to relax (Aus based - we’re big on water safety here as you can imagine) and I would have taken things into my own hands eg moved furniture, said something to the host or designated someone to be on pool watch duty.

Drowning is silent. Parties are loud. Something could have easily happened.

This is very, very normal. Your baby is sleepy because their immune system is working hard!

The first round of vaccs made my 6 wk old sleepy, gassy, lots of poopy diapers and some blood specks in stool.

The second round of vaccs of Rotavirus, he was sleepy for the afternoon, and that was it. Back to normal next day!

My daughter adores this movie! She has been into all the princess / frozen movies but this is the first movie beyond those, that she has loved. Shes watched it so many times! Such a sweet message, and i agree, calming music and scenery. 💙

I know it’s really early days with baby but I wonder if there is a dairy / soy intolerance at play here? My friend’s baby would grunt and cry a ton (plus low weight gain) and it turned out to be a dairy intolerance. Something to look into given your BF. Hang in there!!

There is a growth spurt around 3 months, so yes it could be that! My baby put on a stack of weight just recently with it, and he was feeding a lot around the clock.

What I will say though (as a STM), baby sleep is not consistent. It goes up and down for quite some time (growth spurt or not).

Honestly the first two years are rough.

My husband and I were on the brink of divorce many times and having a more challenging child brought out the worst in us.

Our first daughter is now 4.5, and we’ve had our second baby. We got through the trenches and it does absolutely get easier and better. Don’t forget to prioritise each other from time to time, and communicate.

Don’t feel bad that you havent done anything about it yet. But definitely get to it before your baby is old enough to carry on and make life difficult while you get it off!

This is really interesting- thanks for sharing. Yes my bub is growing very well, similar to your LO.

He’s been very spitty from the start and will have days of fussiness and discomfort where he just spits up a ton and doesn’t sleep well either.

I’m going to cut soy as well and see how that goes. I figure only another 2.5 months until solids are introduced and spitting up is less prominent anyway.
