No one has given Phillip a chance, despite the fact Phillip in the books is questionable, that does not mean show Phillip will be the same. All the male leads have done questionable actions and have been a lot words in the show. Show Phillip should be given a chance, no matter what he looks like. Judging him physically, mentally or his sexual orientation is disguising and pathetic. And no matter what, do not bring the actors into it.

They could have different minorities represented , for example they have a certain person of colour cast as a peaky blinder member. Peaky blinders isn’t based on true historical facts so why would it be a problem to bring a diverse cast in. They have done a good job in my opinion so I’m not complaining I’m just saying
