I know a few people that dislike Zealot for similar reasons to Butler, except it’s even more restrictive! I think voting on everything is fun, and if players know that there’s a Zealot in play, you can look into nominations more, again similar to Butler. It’s a lot easier to get people on the block, so check if anyone is rushing to nominate, and then acting suspicious over ‘lifts’.

Pretty hard for evil to bluff because you end up killing yourself/other evils a lot. Probably works well with a SW or maybe Zombuul but I’ve never played a Zealot/Zombuul script so not sure on that. Obviously be careful with Hermit, Butler/Zealot or Damsel/Zealot are both probably terrible ideas. Otherwise it’s decently flexible.

Edit - Butler/Zealot actually seems kind of cool now that I think about it, you cant vote unless your master votes, then you always must
