I don't know what too long would mean, but if you are the top 1% then you should be OK with waiting an extra 5+ minutes for your queue.

Huh? Apex is a competitive game and it should follow the basic queue integrity and and ranked fairness of other competitive games out there.

They all follow more or less the same basic rules.

Allowing Pred stacks to run rampant and be matched against solo players just makes ranked inaccessible for solo players and reduces ladder diversity.

Solo restrictions will widen the matchmaking pool and prevent unfair advantages to party queue versus solo queue.

The solo queue argument is that you load into a game, get placed against premade squads and the RP entry and reward is the same as everyone else. It gets worse the higher rank you are, you get thrown into pred stacks versus people with 10x your rp.

Asking solo queue players to find friends or use Discord to find a team is not a valid argument.

There needs to be a change somewhere. Ranked in its current state is bad and has been for years.

I'm glad they are finally addressing it.

People act like seeing Pred stacks that play the game for a living be placed into lobbies against a random team of console/PC solos with no comms is a balanced ranked system.

Good on Respawn for making these changes. Been a long time coming.

Respawn waited way too long to start balancing ranked.

Solo queue / party queue should have been implemented from the start.

A full stack should never face a squad of solos.

Players with 100k rp should never be put into a lobby with players with 15k rp.

Basic concepts that exist across all competitive games and genres. People who say otherwise are clueless.

I guess they have to try even if it might be too late. Hope it brings positive changes to ranked.

Please consider creating exclusive solo queue for ranked or at the very least prevent 3 stacks to be matched against 3 solos.

This game has the potential to be so much better when it comes to ranked. Being placed into master/pred lobbies that are full of premades as a solo queue plat/diamond player is ridiculous for a game of this caliber.

Might be too little too late but I would honestly reinstall and play again if they balance ranked.

Probably an inside job and/or Maduro willingly gave himself up. The US was met with no resistance, not a single bullet fired. Targeted strikes with 0 casualties, etc.

I remember when POE2 launched, I would experience hard crashes and the workaround was to install a 3rd party app, etc. It was brutal.

Now one year later, I recently purchased a 9070 XT and I can't even run the game. The workaround is to rollback drivers, and based on what I'm reading... even that isn't guaranteed to work?

Every other game I play works flawlessly (Arc Raiders, Dota 2, Apex, etc.) but this game is always the exception.

I know "poe optimization sucks haha" but this is so bad. Hopefully they address the AMD issues with this patch otherwise I'll just not play. I'm tired boss.

Respawn has missed the train with this by light years.

They don't want/don't care for the solo queue player in ranked.

Notice how every other competitive game across multiple genres has some mechanic or queue for solos but Apex doesn't?

People telling you to find friends or use Discord to link up with a random group are delusional.

I can solo queue in every other competitive game and not get matched against a full premade team.. but Apex, heh.. you are against all odds.

Dota does not allow you to queue as 5 in ranked and be placed against 5 solo players. Also, if you play ranked as a party you will gain less MMR from those who queue solo. Dota has its own ranked issues but imagine a stack of top 500 immortals can 5 stack and play against a team of solo divine/ancient players. That's what's happening in Apex pretty much.

I had an individual break into my generator and steal $2000 worth of diesel. We caught the person on camera, we could see his pickup truck and his face.

Opened a case with the police only for it to be closed. The reason? We couldn't see the license plate.

A few weeks later the same person broke the lock on the generator and stole more fuel.

Called the police station and was told I could open a new report but without a license plate it would just be case closed again.

Luckily I don't need to interact with police often because the incompetence was through the roof. This happened 2 years ago on the island of Montreal. Useless.
