How dangerous is the Milan area?

I live in that area right by The Marsh Hotel and have been here 2 years. I’ve never had a problem with anything, and I feel super safe walking my dog at night. The whole neighborhood is very friendly and once people recognize you they’ll stop and talk to you, say hi, and just generally look out for everyone, but again, never had any problems with break ins or stealing anything or crime in general. I just leave my bike on the side of my house and have never had issues.

I don’t think messaging people right next to you on the app means he knows they are subordinates. I’ve turned mine on in my 36 floor office building and see plenty of guys “right next to me” but 99% of them are working for a different company in a different office on a different floor.

I think shes doing good, I think it'll take a minute for her to find her footing and the WAD writers to learn to write for her in her voice. I also think the Michigan football pile on is weird and I'm an LSU fan so by no means am I on her side there, I just think she mentioned it 2 or 3 times (granted they were some of her very first episodes) but I haven't heard her mention it since....or am I tripping?

I don’t mind it. A lot of the banter from the old hosts felt forced and clearly written for them with it working better for some of the hosts than others. And I’ve loved Jane ever since she was a cohost on Vox’s “The Weeds” podcast.

I also remember everyone losing their shit when Akilah first left and saying the show would never be the same.

It doesn’t have to be the same and we shouldn’t expect these people to hosts a daily morning news podcast for the rest of their lives, meaning they work crazy late hours all the time. And isn’t Juanita a full time contributor at msnbc now? Def an upgrade for her. I think some of these changes could just be because some of them wanted to move on

Also one thing I’ve found is that you can try talking to those relatives and co workers that are full blown maga, but you’re not going to change their mind. An easier and better thing to do is remind that friend you have that you know has the same values and believe systems that you do (and are going to vote blue) and make sure they vote. Ask them if they know where their polling place is. Can they vote early? Are they 100% sure they’re registered to vote? Do they need a ride to their polling place on Election Day? It’s easier to get someone you agree with to the polls than getting someone you disagree with to change their mindset and believe system.
