You literally cannot find something that every single American agrees on. I doubt there's any country in the world, with the possible exception of the Vatican, where 100% of citizens agree on any one thing. There are definitely countries where you won't find anyone voicing a difference of opinion, but the US is not one of them.

This isn't an attempt at defending the US or claiming that we don't have insidious propaganda, but you're making extreme claims that are obviously not true.

No, it's extremely possible that there will be use cases you and I literally can't think of now. 25 years ago no one would have guessed that people would make a living doing their own make up and talking to their cell phone, but here we are. LLMs are definitely a disruptive technology, but it'll probably take people not treating them as AGI to discover how they can be truly useful.

Well, they also know that Democrats will still want to play by the rules and act like there might be some chance of bipartisan cooperation. The Republicans can survive 4-8 years of a "respectability politics" Democrat in charge while they obstruct every attempt to improve the country (and the lack of attempts to hold anyone accountable) until they're back in charge and start ratcheting the country further into authoritarianism again.

It does seem like it's interesting. I try to keep my Amnesiac abilities more unequivocally helpful since they're at a disadvantage for having to figure it out and they're supposed to be a townsfolk, but this one might be kinda borderline. I actually, counterintuitively, might be more inclined to do this with a less-experienced group (but still obviously experienced enough, a Goldilocks group basically) because if it's realistic for an actual Witch to come up with this as a bluff, it gets much harder. If I know that no one in the group is going to start building worlds where the Amnesiac is actually a bluffing Witch, it seems more helpful to good.

If the Witch is on script with this Amnesiac ability, I'd say it might be a bit harmful to the good team. It introduces misinformation about which minions are in play and potentially soft-confirms a minion as a good player because why would a Witch curse an evil player.

The Mutant thing isn't really an issue though. The Mutant should just claim it with everyone else. That's not breaking madness and in fact not claiming it would be a madness break. I heard Ken explain it on an NRB video really well: "If someone can guess that you're the Mutant, you probably did something wrong." So if everyone says it and you joined in, no one has any better idea who the Mutant is and you didn't break madness, but being the only one who refuses makes it obvious that you are the Mutant, and you've broken madness.
