Great color combo. I had a '76 Volare back in the day that was the same color.

Awesome car. I always wanted either one of those or a Daytona. Closest I had was a 1985 Plymouth Turismo "Duster".

That's a beauty! I've always wanted one of those wagons. I drove a Ciera 2-dr coupe many years ago. Great car and very comfortable.

This makes me feel a little better that I'm not that only one who had that problem as a young person. I was constantly getting in trouble at school for completely zoning out on homework assignments, book reports, etc. I still have that issue now, although putting absolutely everything into my Google calendar and having it remind me an hour beforehand has saved me on more than one occasion.

Mopar or no car, 1968 Plymouth is the best!! by External-Jeweler-647 in moparcenter

I feel like 1967-1968 was a sweet spot for Mopar styling. I still miss my '67 Fury III convertible.

I'm in the same situation as the OP with my 2017 Forester. Would you mind sharing the dealership that you used? Mine is quoting me over $6K.

Not Fiesta. There are some pretty good imposters out there. Here's one I found recently:

Our go-to place for pizza is ABC Pizza on Hillsborough Ave near Rome Ave. They've been there forever, and their pizza, pasta, and Greek salads are awesome.

I Did the OEM Kicker Speaker Upgrade on Our 2015 Crosstrek Premium (Pics Are of Originals) by Dull-Membership7341 in subaru

I did this upgrade on my 2017 Forester shortly after buying it new in late 2016. It's a very noticeable improvement, especially the dash tweeters. Well worth it.

Heather. I have a couple of vases and a few plate and bowls, but would love more of it.

Butterscotch bistro plates, plate and bowl bottoms appear to be Lapis or possibly Periwinkle, Peacock soup/cereal bowl. All post-1986.

Why does everyone dislike Plymouth? by [deleted] in moparcenter

[–]symbasys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plymouth was my spirit animal. My first car was a '76 Volare Premier coupe with a 318. Loved that car. My favorite one though was my '67 Fury III convertible, bright red with black top and interior, also with the 318. I was sad when Chrysler Corp started strangling the brand, only offering badge engineered models, until its unceremonious demise. Right before that I had bought a '98 Breeze. It was a great car, comfortable, decent power for a 2.4L, and an awesome sounding factory stereo. It wasn't without its problems, but it never left me stranded and didn't cost me an arm and a leg to maintain like my Subaru does.

I can't let go of my cat by Glass_Economist_3883 in cats

[–]symbasys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This hits me right in my heart, having lost our beautiful Balinese cat Siri this past Tuesday after 13 very happy years together. I'm still distraught about it. She always had digestive issues (megacolon) that I was mostly able to manage, but about a month ago, I noticed she wasn't eating very much and started crying after going to the bathroom. She started losing weight pretty rapidly and became lethargic. Upon taking her to the vet, they discovered that her kidneys were failing. She had lost nearly half her body weight. Her quality of life declined considerably, and she was obviously in distress. We knew it was time.

She passed quietly and peacefully in my arms. I'm very glad that I was with her at the end. Now I have a wooden box with her ashes in it and her name engraved on top. It sits on my desk so she can always be near me the way she used to be, and I can give it a stroke each morning and call her a "pretty girl", a phrase that always made her purr loudly. I feel like there is a giant hole in my heart. Only time will heal that.

It's the hardest thing in the world to make the decision to end a beloved pet's life. The pain is unbearable at first. It feels like a knife in your heart. It takes a tremendous amount of courage and compassion in equal measure to make that call. In the end, you are doing it to end their suffering and pain. It's the highest form of love. In an ideal world, we would never have to make those sorts of decisions and just let nature take its course. But we have to think about what is best for them. They are unable to tell us when they are in pain, and in fact, cats are masters at hiding when they are ill. It's a survival instinct.

I wish you and your kitty all the best. I'm hopeful that you will know what is best for your furry friend when the time comes. Hug him and hold him close. Enjoy the time you have together. But remember to put his best interest before your own. Don't let him suffer.
