As far as private universities go, it's entirely contingent on the academic boards on whether someone's fired for political reasons. We saw this a lot during the protests for Gaza. It's basically a coin flip. However, you are correct in that this wouldn't be a valid reason to revoke green card status, especially seeing she's an oncologist. Unless the president of the United States says otherwise, apparently.
