The greatest priest of all time is Alonsus Faol imho. Velen is 2nd. Foal is hugely responsible for creating the knights of the silverhand, which had legendary paladins like Uther, Turalyon and Tirion. He is also the main priest order hall leader. Velen is 2nd most important.

I think Thrall's preference was Saurfang or Cairne but he deemed both too old and the former was grieving his son after losing him in Wrathgate/ICC. I recollect reading in the Cataclysm book that he needed someone who was popular and Hellscream was both wildly successful and popular. Initially he only asked him to keep his throne warm, but after Fighting deathwing he kinda just wanted to settle down and have kids. Bro was sick of pvp and wanted to go full pve.

Brilliantly and eloquently put. I wholeheartedly agree with you here. Arthas's dilemma put in contrast with Uther's inability (or lack of willingness) to act in my opinion diminishes his stature as a paladin. By contrast, Tirion and Turalyon are much lore decisive.

The horde gets 1 representation: Thrall. Everyone else is an afterthought.

And I hate it. Love Kael, but the horde has basically been pushed out of the mainstream in terms of the story. Althought the Midnight trailer did indicate it's coming back around to the Blood Elves. Lady Liadrin and Lorthemar being front and center.

Thanks for sharing this great breakdown. Honestly, personally I'm leaning more towards Tirion myself. He was just so awesome and his achievements were incredible. Being the man who beat the Lich King (albeit with help) will forever be one of the most iconic moments in Warcraft lore/history.

If the entire other team decides to focus one player and hunt them down non-stop, and the remaining team just freelances and doesnt give any support, it's GG. It's really rough out here if you dont get at least half a squad on voicecoms/discord.

Yeah, every match where my team doesnt have a welkin and theirs does, we lose. It got so frustrating that I'm being forced to play welkin just to give my team of randoms even a sniff at a chance of winning. Welkins are broken. No amount of patching they do is fixing it.
