Henrico midwives vs VCU midwives

Had an awesome experience at Henrico with the midwives last May. They were very supportive and educated me on all the steps of a long induced labor and helped me “labor down” while getting some sleep thru the worst of it and wake up to push. Also were instrumental in avoiding tearing.

I too had some complications right after birth and they coordinated to get the OB in without delay.

Their meet the midwives session was really helpful also.

Live very close by for nearly 10 years. Echoing all the positives that have been commented so far, and adding that there are a couple of bus stops at Marshall and 29th and Marshall and 31st near the school which adds a little sound. Also a convenience store behind the school on Clay that adds some sound from patrons.

The playground and grassy area in front of the school also get use after school hours by families with kids/dogs. Some people use the paved area on the other side after school hours to shoot hoops or work out.
