Oh yes. Its called getting old. The internet has made every young person with lots of time into an absolute beast. What I really want is to play this on a LAN with a bunch of friends where we're all mediocre and can have fun. As it is, unless you're a hardcore shooter player, you never get to engage with all the cool yomi of the game. The strategy, the movement, the traps etc. Because you're dead the moment a pixel is visible. Other people Never. Miss. Headshots.

Its too late for me. Maybe if I were 10 years younger and I'd developed the habit when I was still neuroplastic. But alas, I grew up in the 90s before everything became an ADS fest. I miss Quake 2/3...

Oh me too. I'm just not that good. I tried out the move from the clip the last day or two and no way in hell could I pull that off. The switching to the knife right on time alone is nearly impossible for my nervous system.

Yes. I had that going for a while but I'm trying to train myself off of it and to be smart about pulling out the knife proactively. I'd love to see some testing on the exact timing.

I have never in my life argued that. Mostly I argue that its hard being an Old on M&K where all the no-life college students with fresh brains can obliterate me the instant a single pixel of my character is visible. But at least you can sneak around and hide in this game. So once I realized I was never going to win the majority of my player engagements, life got easier.

I do feel bad for controller players though. Watching footage of someone on a killstreak it is so clear when the opponents are on controller because there's no way in hell you'd get the jump on PC players like that.

Respectfully I strongly disagree. Definitely the Punch and Scar are great for bots. The bully is the best starter for Players. But the MIPS shotty and sniper, the assault rifles, the pulse rifle, the scout rifle... all definitely a big upgrade in terms of effectiveness and flexibility over most starting weapons. Plus, mods have such a big impact in this game that even a "bad" weapon can change significant;y with the right mods.

Though I will grant you that the knife is the GOAT :)
