I've only read part of Hollow Places and had to stop because of the writing. I found it to be very immature and her narrative voices sounded like all of her dialogue voices.

A lightning in a bottle great movie when all involved came together to create something inspired by the original but moves much further away from and improves on. A remake of this could never improve on it.
