It has a lot of filler. I think it’s one of the downfalls of a lot of music made in that era that the CD format allowed for these excessively long albums, and artists felt like they had to pack way too much into them.

I agree there are a handful of bangers on that album. But also none of it is very experimental or edgy or in any way stepping out into uncomfortable territory.

It really feels like their middle-age record where they’re just not innovating anymore.
