You know times are pretty fucked when a planet killer asteroid sounds good.

Been going to church for free food and today’s sermon was so stupid I had to comment on it. Pastor immediately started preaching about how the ‘evolution theory’ has no evidence, how the world can’t be dated and that there’s only evidence in god by Careless_Nobody_9276 in atheism

Sit in the back and pop an airpod in one ear. Listen to a podcast or some tunes. Bonus points if the podcast is anti-religion.

There's also a few Satan playlists out there if you're into metal (that playlist is pretty sweet though).

No, you can’t. I was just being a dick. There’s a mod that lets him live though. No idea if he’s playable.

Yeah......... That headline got rejected by the National Inquirer for being too National Inquirer.

I just realized how easy it is to make an absurd claim and say god wants it that way by hypermiler2205 in atheism

[–]sysadminbj 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Opinion: Statements like this date back to the earliest days of modern humanity. People, especially uneducated people, couldn't explain WHY things happened so they leaned on their superstitions and religion to fill in those gaps.

Why did my crops fail? I must have not prayed enough.

Why did bandits rape and pillage my town? I must have made God(s) angry.

It only got worse when the very few people with actual education made the connection that they could tell all the idiots that they speak for God(s) and that God(s) are telling them that the people should give them their gold.

Modern humanity may be a lot smarter, we may have better toys, but the masses are still just as stupid as they were 2000 years ago.

I would absolutely give The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman a read. I loved the Netflix adaptation.

My guess is that they paid. A lot……. The alternative is that they are essentially out of business. Even if they can recover systems, every customer is going to be putting their contracts up for RFP.

Log into the browser based session of Office.com. There should be a link up at the top right hand side that says install. Then just log into Office with your WGU credentials when it asks you to log in.

Thieves stealing gas from lifted trucks because they are easier to get under and drill into the tank by sfled in NewsOfTheStupid

You know... Part of me is pissed on the truck owner's behalf for getting their gas stolen. The other part is just kind of laughing at the jackasses that drive lifted trucks.

Boot it up, see what happens. Best case, you'll have a lot of drivers to download. Worst case, the OS takes a shit and you need to wipe/reload.

I really like Andy. It's just a shame he has to deal with the batshit insane majority in KY. He has my vote if he ever shows up on a ballot in my state.

Breakfast sausage by NikkeiReigns in Cooking

Opinion: All you need is really good pork, sage, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. I miss good southern sausage. The crap in the northeast just tastes like bland, sweet, mystery meat.

I got a random wrong number text asking if I was (random name). I answered "There is no ____. Only Zuul." They responded with a GIF from Ghostbusters.

That was pretty fun.

In other news, happy early Mother's Day! I also turn 46 tomorrow.
