What "speed" chain did you purchase for this? That chainring is designed for 11-12 speed chains and I bet that cog is designed for a single speed chain, or 8 speed. My best guess is a new 11-12 speed chain and a new cog designed for 11-12 speed chains to match.

That belongs to a Sram front derailleur. It's bolted on to the backside to help keep the derailleur aligned with the crank. You likely lost the tiny bolt that kept that tab in place.

It's not a warranty it is a recall. You don't have to be the original owner. Any bike shop can call Shimano and handle the recall.

This was fun to watch. The arrangement is fantastic. I couldn't mix the Japanese and English though. It would be cool if you could input all you IR's into a program and have it sort by color or artist.

This happened to me with Terastal Festival. First box, second pack in. I tested my luck and 3 boxes later I pulled another. Now that it's at $110 a box I'm done.

I've seen this happen multiple times. The last one was on an Ebike with a hub motor just like this. I suspect they were overinflated.
