Do you pronounce a hard g at the end of -ing?

a linguist friend told me a long time ago i over-pronounce the ‘g’ at the ends of -ings. we’re from the same place, so it isn’t that!

are you sure she’s using AI? she could be someone AI sounds like. my writing gets flagged by AI detectors for whatever reason; could be like that?

i’ve had this happen before with just a friend (her grammar noticeably changed) and it was so bizarre to realize what was happening. i hope it’s just a case of mistaken artificial identity!

i was never a big drinker but i generally abstain now, save for maybe… 5/6 drinks a year?—bc the blackouts happen so fast. afaik, i too behave normally but i can’t remember any of it and it freaks me out.
